One of the biggest attractions of professional wrestling has always been the unexpected moments. Shocking returns, surprise betrayals, unexpected championship victories and twists that nobody saw coming.
But has wrestling become too predictable in recent years?
Sometimes it feels like fans can work out exactly where a storyline is heading weeks before it happens. We often know which superstar is likely to win, who will turn heel and how certain rivalries will eventually end.
Of course, predictable storytelling isn't always bad. Sometimes a well-built storyline needs an obvious destination, and the journey is what makes it enjoyable.
But wrestling needs those genuine surprises that leave fans talking!
π What's Your Opinion?
Have wrestling storylines become too predictable?
Are championship matches too easy to call these days?
Do promotions rely too heavily on obvious storyline twists?
When was the last time a wrestling moment genuinely surprised you?
Would you prefer more unpredictable booking, even if it meant taking bigger risks?
π¬ Let's Debate!
Do you think professional wrestling needs to become less predictable, or are fans simply too good at spotting where storylines are heading?
