AEW has come out on top in this week's Wednesday night ratings battle against WWE NXT, and the numbers make for interesting reading!
According to PWInsider.com, AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts attracted 792,000 overnight viewers, compared to 552,000 viewers for WWE NXT.
NXT was moved to Wednesday this week due to the CW Network's Election Night coverage in the United States, setting up a rare head-to-head showdown between the two promotions.
📊 The Ratings Breakdown
Category | AEW Dynamite | WWE NXT |
|---|---|---|
Total Viewers | 792,000 | 552,000 |
18–49 Demo | 323,000 | 180,000 |
25–54 Demo | 341,000 | 195,000 |
AEW's performance in the 18–49 demographic is particularly noteworthy, with this reportedly being its biggest audience in that demo since the 2024 Blood & Guts episode of Dynamite.
👀 A Big Win for AEW?
What's especially interesting is the amount of star power featured on NXT, with Cody Rhodes, John Cena, CM Punk and several other big names appearing on the show.
Despite that impressive line-up, AEW managed to win across total viewers and both key demographics.
That's certainly a result AEW will be pleased with!
